I'm using a JBL DA4002 car amplifier in my arcade cabinet and it works fine but the volume is incredibly too loud (even if I lower it all the way down in Windows, or my MiSTer FPGA system).

I can add a potentiometer but I tested 10k, 100k, and 500k dual gang poteniometers and after increasing the dial about 10% it becomes too loud again.

  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Is there a gain control on the amp? if so turn it down.

Thanks for the reply.

I don't see any gain control unless it's called input sensitivity which I do have turned all the way down.
