Rowe/AMI R-85 - small hole 45s
« on: September 22, 2020, 10:41:38 am »
 ;D

I have an R-85 I was looking to modify to play 45s (45-RPM) with a small hole.  Not looking to 'dink' any records.  I have a couple ideas on how to do this but was wondering if anyone had any better ideas than myself!

> lower the platter and modify the center similar to an intermix system...  is there an adapter device for this?
> swap the platter out to another design?
> heard there was a Rowe-Ami 26668106 Automix kit -60hz.  Not sure what this entails or how to find this.

Looking for any ideas!

THANK YOU!
