Clicky push button suggestions?
« on: September 08, 2020, 02:26:53 pm »
I really love hearing and feeling a mechanical click when I hit my push buttons, but am having trouble finding suppliers that manufacture this type.

Seems like Paradise Arcade Shop at one point was selling a custom Cherry-MX Blue mod for Sanwa buttons, but they no longer carry stock: https://paradisearcadeshop.com/home/electrical/components/microswitches/obs-mx/1620_obs-mx-blue-switch?search_query=buttons&results=494

very curious to find any other models or options!

If you want to keep the Sanwa buttons I don't know of anything. There are LOTS of other convex pushbuttons that use a clicky microswitch though.

Those with a cherry microswitch will be quite clicky.
