This was a gas station in Co, outside of Denver...There were lots of little rocks, but managed to stand on it and roll some...

This was a toll booth in Kansas, miles and miles if nothing, then a toll booth, did not expect that but stopped...It went well, got to push around a couple times.

Speaking  of covid, and traveling, I dont have any masks, or gloves just a bottle of rubbing alcohol for my hands...Seems most of the world is business as usual, no mask, no worrys and really don't care anymore, Restaurants are open, people at the mall, the world is still spinning...Will quarantine for 14 days when I get home however, just because. Still rolling, not sick, ate a meat stick, life is good...I will try to get some better pics and vids once I get a little better.🤪

ND to Denver, CO to Fulton, MO in one day? That is like 1200 miles at least.

Denver to Fulton alone is over 700 miles.

And you stopped in multiple places to look for random skateparks?

Stop smoking crack.

You are either making everything up or exaggerating things to the breaking point.

Anyways. Keeping track of your ---That which is odiferous and causeth plants to grow--- is annoying. So have a good trip wherever you are going. Wear a helmet when you are riding that skateboard.

I don't have any more to say in this thread.

Thats 2 days idiot, the first day I got hurt when I feel off, so I diddnt ride in SD, or NB, because I was too sore, And since that's what I am doing diddnt take the pics until Co. When I could ride again...I am looking up skateparks on my phone, not driving around every city...This is a big country, and 600 to 800 miles a day takes me all day, Aparently even the pics you dont believe, but since you left this thread just got more fun, and I will take the pics for everybody else...today I am thinking maybe towards GA. That sounds pretty., (Walking dead Lol, Jenn does the zombie growl sounds, over pancakes, Giggle)

I am thinking on giving up looking for skakeparks however, just ride in random places (still can't ride, little embarrassing), And I may be a little old for that crowd anyway, like the creepy dude at high school that can buy beer...I think they call this street skating...Or possibly learning to skate😬

Today in Mo. Jenn tries to be cool and learn her first trick, so, I stomped on the end of the board and tried to catch it when it flew into the air,...It flipped over and hit my left leg...OWCH!

This is kinda fun, a pic of the arch in St.Louis ("Gateway to the west")for you guys that have never seen it, apparently there is a little trolly ride thing inside it and you can ride to the top...I was going to skateboard under it, but got lost, and this is as close as I got...Fun pic though.😉

As for my skateboard project, Jenn really sucks at it...I am thinking alot of it is psychological, and since after that last crash I am actually getting worse because of the fear of falling again...I dont have the smooth transition like you see in the movies, more jerky and unstable, cant balance, and cant stop...I will get through this however...

Today IL...If you guys watch the news like Jenn you would think bullets were flying around and it was some kind of war zone...Not what I saw, Really friendly salt of the earth, hard working people, and quite modern as most of it was comercial big box, strip mall kinda outlet...I skated a mall parking lot, diddnt crash, quite unstable however.

KY...There were Waffle houses like everywhere, So I tried one, It was fun, the server takes your order, then turns around and dictates it to the cook, the cook dictates it back as confirmation and you watch him cook your dinner...I skated the parking lot, got lucky I think, I got a small ride down the sidewalk, (holding on to building for balance)

And finally Ga!...We made it!.(dance,dance)...First observations were tall scruffy pines (and probbibally, horrible snakes and spiders) and really nice highways, like incredible, I am curious if the pavement is different than other states, I will analyze that tomorrow in the daylight...I am probibally going to spend the day in Atlanta, shopping (and skating) then we will get back to some more states😜 (sorry for bad pic, It was late)...This makes 7 out of 48

Thx, regrets in life are things not tried I am thinking...Normally once a year I go looking for a lost gold mine with my friends, but they diddnt want to go this year, and Jenn Really,Really don't like snakes anyway, So why not this?...Riding a skateboard, or trying anyway is highly addictive, like that one good ride will make up for all the misery, and incredibly fun when all goes to plan, downside is things go bad incredibly fast, and it is a split second decision as to ones fate.

Atlanta, Ga, The only way to describe it is OMG...Ok guys I skated Ga. *Parking lot over behind the car parts store (And feel lucky to be alive)...I was going to do FL. next, but since this has to be high on my list of crazy things Jenn has done, I sat on the grass and thought, the last time I was having fun was Nashville, so I am backtracking to there, then going West TX, perhaps...

I for one think the skate-safari is excellent.
Glad you are minimizing injuries.

Have you incorporated any arcade stalking while you are out roaming around?!
I envy anyone who can drive for more than 2 hours and not see the same scenery again.

And the Summit crew rocks!

I usually binge when I travel like way too much, then get disapointed when I get there, Atlanta really freaked out this small town girl, The city lights, outshined the stars, the level of stress and chaos was astounding, and big OMG. (I imagine one would get used to it, but still, OMG)...hopefully I can get Fl. from the panhandle (I may not get all states, but I will try my best)...Yes I look for arcades, not seeing any though, there was one at a W/mart the other day, nicer than I am accustomed, they had a Jurassic park I wanted to play soooo bad, but it was all chained up, The covid thing I supose...That Summit place was really big, the front of that building was like all glass and had race cars in the showroom window, super cool, I should have got a pic of that, but, out back behind the building was quiet and dark, I so needed that at the time.

good for you.

I'm not even allowed out of NY with the exception of PA without having to quarantine for 2 weeks when I get back.
Can't even go into a place of business without a mask.

That hardly even seems fair, From what I am seeing probibally half the people wear masks at all, generally You have to wear one into say a restaurant, (where you can sit at every other table), gas station or wal mart but once you get in you can take it off, I don't even have one, I been just rinsing my hands with alcohol after touching doors, or gas pumps, not touching my face, and staying like 10 feet away from people in lines and such...Havent seen anyone coughing, or looking dead or anything.

#8, Ar...Littlerock, home of The Clinton's I think, (Hey Bill, "keep your filthy paws off my silky drawers"...Here's one for the girls😜 Make up factory! Loreal actually was one the other end of the building, who would have ever guessed they both come from the same place? Guessing it is two different lines of the same company. Couldn't help feeling like there were a bunch of ultra cute test monkeys peeking out the windows at me however, making a fool of myself in the night, all smoking Virginia slims and laughing at Jenn...LOL...Skated the parking lot, fell on my butt, hurt my right wrist, not broke (sore) and got some rocks stuck in my hand, Will survive...Off to Texas.

Which brings up a curious point...This board I built from W/mart had probibally the worst reviews ever in the history of skateboards (shame on you Tony Hawk for selling out) anyway, It didn't roll, reviews were not wrong, the wheels and bearings were replaced with another board from W/mart (kryptonics) and that fixed the rolling issue, Well... the wheels are bigger, and If I lean too much, they hit the bottom of the board, it stops like instantly and crash!...The bushings also feel cheap as compared the my pink fly board built at the beginning of this thread, but it is the same physical shape, and approximate size of that board, just cheap...(50.00 for both W/mart boards) as compared to 300.00 with that Sims.

Texas!, almost like its own country, weirdest thing, take a exit ramp, and you got to use the service road to loop back under the bridge to get where you want to go, Like driving around in circles until you get there,, (but not all ramps are like that, some are actually two ways) really confusing... East Texas seems nothing like  the West side, perpetually populated, and spread out, with little scrub pine, bush trees...Havent skated yet, thinking Dallas/Ft Worth area...Houston seems like it may be more of a fun area however, they seem to be on the gulf, and would be more of a tourism attraction. (I would think)...Anyway while in Texas, eat BBQ meat I guess...See you guys in awhile😎...*(Havent seen any cowboys yet)

There are vastly different quality and durometer of truck bushings but you should be able to work with whatcha got.
And you can adjust the tension on those kingpin bushings if you have the right size wrench!
If you are getting wheel bite then tighten them down a bit to limit their lateral squishiness.
Quarter turn at a time until you get to the right amount of side to side what-have-ya when you are riding that thing.

And make sure you torque front and back equally so as to not make things more wacky.

And press on!
Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools! I can fix it.

I was kinda thinking, just tighten the back one so not to lose the turning, but I get what you are saying, especially if I am riding it backwards, And it is not like Jenn is riding pools or anything,
just get good enough to ride it at all,, and eventually off curbs, which to you guys sounds simplistily easy I supose,  but actually looking at it from a skateboard yes kinda a big deal and scary ...Tighted the trucks 1/4 turn, off to Dallas to give it a try!🤫

#9...Tx. (Farmers branch)...There were like toll roads and express ways in Dallas, so I went up to the North side, Pic doesnt scream Tx , and Mike will think Jenn is lying I supose, But Hope PBJ could verify it as Dallas area if comes to that,  beings how it is a medical place and all (Figgered if I was laying dead in their parking lot, they could give me therapy or something when they came to work,
LOL)...The tree is really cool, like a big short shade tree, the parking lot quiet, well lit (@ 5:00 in the morning) and not flat, like really not flat, off to the left one could almost consider a small hill...JENNIFER RIDES A SKATEBOARD! Not fast, not graceful but go did She...so much fun!🤪
