05SRT4:
Skated just about everyday day up till my mid 20's. A couple years ago I was messing with it in the garage with my board, had a little fall and was out for a few days just from that lol. Sucks growing up |
pbj:
I am fat and slow as ---fudgesicle--- and play DDR regularly. On easy and all that but good grief. :dizzy: |
jennifer:
This is not one of my better ideas, I will give that to you guys, your scary tales of impending doom is not helping my anxiety... I have never built a board before, so I will do a quick down and dirty build thread here to perhaps someday help someone else trying this...My first thoughts are like everything in this world there is a linearity to the process and genearally only one correct way to do it...Since I don't know how...Well, We will just tear it down and start over, not restoring it to pristine but as functional. |
jennifer:
The teardown was easy, few bolts bla, bla, But when removing the old stickers I ran into the first problem...Incredibly cheap paint, the residue chem, would have just wiped the color off the board, Generally test first, but in this case just stop, before it gets worse. |
jennifer:
The sandpaper tape came off nice, and residue was removed with damp acetone rags, being careful not to let it drip onto the other side, and eat the paint... |
