Week 3 = Bears over Falcons
You've been day drinking I assume?   :applaud:
I have indeed :) I may very well change my mind by Thursday though as still plenty of week left in this drink :)

I've been on the waiting list for Bears season tickets for 17 or 18 years. While I applaud your die or try approach to week 3, I'm going to strongly suggest to pour more and keep going. You'll find the better answer soon.

You know these are NFL teams right?

It is not real bears fighting real falcons.

I hope you are right Drnick but I think the Falcons are going to be pissed and motivated after last Sunday and the Bears will be the Bears.

OK against my better judgement I will change my choice and go with

Week 3, Steelers over Texans

I still think the Bears could beat falcons and if anyone wants to give me a 5 point start I'll have a 10 dollar bet :)

You know what, with big brass ones like that, I allow you to move on to week 4 if either of those games hit.  Bears or Steelers win, and you go on.  On one condition... you have to watch the Bears game and suffer through some terrible game play, poor decisions by the coach and QB, iffy defensive play at times, and at least two quarters of football where you question every decision you've ever made in your life.

Quitting Bears fandom a long time ago was one of my better life decisions.

I can't remember exactly when. It was before they lost in the Superbowl.

So around 2000 somewhere.

When I was in elementary school we did the Superbowl Shuffle for class. If my mom still has the video I will definitely post it.

A friend of my dad got us into a corporate event where we had dinner with a bunch of players.

I had a pic with Singletary, Fencik, and a couple other guys. We ran mock plays in this fancy ballroom.

My brother took the pics to school and lost them. Among the pics was one with James Doohan and me from some trade show my dad took me to. I am still pissed at my brother about that one.

I used to love the Bears. They just unapologetically sucked for too long.

I'm in the UK so can I watch it on catch up :) We only get Monday night Football live over here on Freeview :)  Also just to add with no sarcasm or snarkiness  I'm so glad to be providing some light entertainment to what would otherwise be a pretty uneventful last man standing :) Go Bears, Go Steelers :) :) :)  Ok that last bit may have been a bit sarcastic :) Dream big or go home, that's my motto.

I don't know how it happened, but you were right.   :applaud:

Though I could see the Falcons firing their HC by lunch today.  Two monumental leads lost at the end of the last two games isn't good.  Probably the only reason that he wouldn't be fired is if they don't have anyone to replace him on staff.

I can only imagine what odds for both teams winning were being offered at the end of the 3rd quarter :)  Could have paid off my mortgage for a 10 dollar bet probably :)

I think they should rename them The Washington Hogs.  Already has some history and pays tribute to the politicians in the city.

That game will trigger PBJ a tad I'd imagine.  I'm curious to read his thoughts.  They're only a half game out of first place but their defense is terrible.

Dak is Tony Romo Part 2.  Chokes when it matters and makes great numbers when we're behind. I'm not sure he can turn his head left if you put a gun to the back of it. Zeke has even worse ball handling than he has previously.

Texans fired chin butt yesterday but it won't change anything.

Going to be a lousy year for Texas NFL.
