2020 NFL Last Man Standing info below

I have ran this for close to a decade now and Chad ran it the first few years.  I was going to post it later in August, but I'm bored at work today and may not have time next week to do it.

Rules are simple.  Choose one game each week.  Pick the winner.  If you are wrong you are eliminated from the game.  Last man standing wins.  I will keep track of everyone's picks each week and display them by editing this post.

When making a pick, highlight it in the post, so that they're easier to pick out.  I don't want to miss anyone's pick.  If you don't know how to highlight it, copy somebody else's pick and change the color name if you want.

A pick must be made every week.  Failure to make a pick results in elimination.   Picks should be posted in this thread so that people have the ability to double check my work.

You cannot pick a game with the same team two weeks in a row.  If you pick the Rams over the Titans in week 2, you cannot use either the Rams game or the Titans game in week 3.  Having everyone help with this will eliminate the possibility of a mistake on my end on this item.  You can pick a team multiple times over the season.

Entrant pool closes an hour preceding the game you want to pick.  That means that if you want to pick a Thursday game  you must do so at least an hour before the game starts.  Forum timestamps will be binding.

My feelings get more mixed every year about this sport.  With no preseason we are going to see some horrific injuries in week 1.  Have you guys been watching Hard Knocks?  Maybe the Chargers are always this bad but it looked like junior high scrimmage to me.

Yeah. 10 minutes of action during 3+ hours of broadcast. I gave up on football a long time ago.
The players are too big and heavily armored now. It is just a contest to see who can get to the end of the season with the least amount of injuries. Coaches don't want to put their stars on the field for that reason.

Dak is an 8-8 quarterback.  Zeke is barely better than running back #2 and #3, costs too much, and falls down the second someone touches him.  Maybe I grew up watching too much Earl Campbell and Emmit Smith.

I’ve actually gotten to where I borderline hate this team.

Texas A&M has a campus full of shitheads that think they aren’t spreading anything, I lived in dumps while the football players played in a palace, after I saw the latest iteration of that stadium I swore I’d never give that school a dime, and I’m a 4th generation legacy.  SEC refuses to throw in the towel and I’m over it.

Imagine liking Earl Campbell and Warren Moon as a kid.

Imagine listening to that game on the radio when they ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- the bed to the Bills in 1993.  It was so unbelievable that you and your dad set the tools down, gojo’ed your hands, and went inside to watch it on TV.

Imagine living down the street from Earl Campbell’s old house and seriously considering buying it when it hit the market 3 years ago.  That swimming pool kicked ass.

Imagine seeing NRG and the Astrodome from your office window every day.

And still being a Cowboys fan over the Texans because Houston football has been a shitshow forever and never won’t be.
