Not sure how many people are into the old micros on here but for those who are heres a link to the next round of spectrum next on KS.

I got to play on one of the originals at the beginning of the year, some of the new games that have been developed for it are fantastic.

Looks like a nice FPGA implementation. Never had one though - I think it was more the C64 here.

It uses an rpi zero as a video accelerator.
sounds like witchcraft to me.

Maybe haha

Its got some pretty cool looking games that have been released and many more in the works.
Plus its obviously backwards compatible with all original games and accessories.

I remember the Timex Sinclair.  I also had a book of called 100 games in 1K.  Sure did suck typing on the membrane keyboard.

Reminded me of the Atari 400 (showing my age) and the antibacterial keyboards in the hospitals tthheyy sttil uusse ttoddayy.  Lol.

The graphics look nice 38 years on.  ;D

It was hugely popular over here yeah, They did make it stateside but were not very popular.
