Goldleaf Hole Size
« on: August 05, 2020, 05:17:30 pm »
Good afternoon! I'm working on my panel layout and wanted to confirm the hole size for Goldleaf buttons. The wiki says 1 5/32 but I've found other places that mention that they're 1 1/8. Which bit size should I use?

Leaf buttons =/= Ultimarc Goldleaf buttons.

Leaf buttons

Goldleaf buttons

Use a 1-1/8" bit for the Goldleafs.
- 1-1/8" = 28.575mm
- In a pinch, you might get away with using a 30mm bit, but the extra wiggle room makes it a bit harder to keep the spacing equal.
