Mortal Kombat 1 Connector

If you cant find them just chop em off and replace with a better quality connector.

I have grown rather fond of the JST YL series, Molex are another good choice :)

Just replace the whole mess with Molex connectors. They are a more solid connection, and they are readily available.

Thanks everyone! That's what I needed to know. I wanted to keep everything as close to OEM as possible, but that's proving to be a challenge.

I'll just replace it with more modern and accessible connectors.

It is very common even for collectors to replace the IDC connectors with Molex connectors.

Those punch down connectors never should have been used in the first place.

Also, thank you for this. I'm so glad I asked here. The Operations Manual you provided a link for is far more detailed than the one I had been using, which I now see is the "Mortal Kombat Kit" Operations Manual (which seems to be the prominent MK:OM PDF you find online). I think it's going to clear up a lot of the questions I've been having.
