Different Button Sizes Needed? Please Help
« on: June 10, 2020, 05:33:38 pm »
I am looking at picking up the 202mx (https://focusattack.com/pushbuttons/popular-brands/crown/sdb-series/30mm/202-mx/) Crown buttons as my main action buttons.

These are .110 connector buttons.

However, trying to find black player buttons all seem to come in .187 connectors.

Using an Ultimarc iPAC4, what is the recommended wiring to support both connector types with since all my other buttons will be .110.  Thinking specifically things such as the ground daisy chain, and wiring.

Is this standard that most cabinets have to support multiple connector sized buttons?

Just buy the .110 harness and change the ones you require for .187.
You wont get a harness with both unless its custom built.

Thanks for the suggestion Titchgamer.

Can you elaborate for this noob, what you mean by "change" for changing the ones you require .187?
Is there a connector conversion adaptor.

Or just simply running the appropriate wires (connections) for the .187 from the iPAC4?

Well you could make up a little conversion adapter.

But I would buy a bag of .187 spades and just cut off and replace the smaller ones as required.

They are not expensive and will be the neatest solution.

Thanks, I think that would be the easiest, I was over complicating it.

The .110 connectors can be enlarged with a small screwdriver to open them up enough to fit onto the 0.187 connector ( not ideal but can be done )
