How to safely pull the monitor from a Kickman cab?
« on: May 04, 2020, 04:31:15 pm »
Apologies in advance for the cross-post, but I wasn't sure whether this board or the Restorations board was more appropriate; if one or the other is more "wrong," please let me know.

At any rate, I'm trying to figure out how to pull a broken G07 from a Kickman full size without breaking (a) the monitor or (b) myself.  Would appreciate hearing any suggestions and/or prior experiences:

UPDATE: Actually it's no big deal. I just did it, monitor stays politely in place until you move it out. Over-caution never hurt anybody when dealing with CRTs, but this was a molehill, not a mountain.

Carry on...
