Star Wars arcade with Bench - preorder coming $499

So...I've been out of the game for a bit since my cab is done and it's just minor software tweaks for me most of the time.  But, what's the current status re: Star Wars Yoke or replacements?  Aside from the RAM Controls debacle, I'm not aware of a solution and it seems if the cab can be had for $100 or less, it might be worth for the yoke (assuming a rebuild) alone.

There's the Alan-1 yoke that's arguably a slight improvement over the original Atari controller.   ;D

Personally, I'd use a $5 Arduino Pro Micro with the KADE miniArcade 2.0 firmware (related post and tutorial link here) instead of their $99 USB encoder here.  YMMV.
