This sounds like fun. My family has been using Zoom for occasional "meetups" so we can all stay in touch. I have an iPad with the app and it's pretty easy to use. I'll have to see if I can find a clever way to set up something in the gameroom to get more of that Zapcon vibe going. :)

Just to throw another tool on the pile, I recently came across https://whereby.com/
It's free for groups up to 4 and runs directly in the browser with no plugins or whatnot.
I haven't used it myself yet, but it seems pretty popular among users in a Discord server I'm in for people who play Magic: The Gathering via webcam.

I just dusted off my sony hdr-hc3 camcorder. It is 1080i. It has HDMI out. It has a nice big lens that would work better in low light than a webcam.
Why do streaming cards for HDMI cost 100 dollars or more? Is there a cheaper solution or should I just buy a webcam?
