What's the best free webhosting for your projects?
« on: April 05, 2002, 08:21:24 am »
What are you guys using to host your cabinet project websites? I have an account at netfirms.com and it seems to be pretty nice, but I was wondering if anyone was using any other free webhosting services that they really like. Also, if anyone has had any bad experiences with netfirms.com, I'd like to know.

Thanks,
EA

This will probably get moved to everything else like my post about web hosting.

I was looking at their site.
Couldn;t find much info on the free one, but the $5 service:
> You can store up to 200MB
> Transfer limits up to 6GB / month
> Full featured WebMail and POP Email
> Multimedia File Support(MP3, MPG, AVI,  etc.)
> No Banner Ads!

That means teh free one is worse than that.  Probably banner ads and less space, right??

6G/mo is not much.  Well, it is, until you get something that even a localized group of people like.  Ive seen links here that people posted that when I go to check it out it has reached its limit.
