  • I have a gaming addiction.....
Have you tried just leaving it on without pressing anything?

If it only has issues when you operate controls it could be bad wiring?

yes, i mentioned in my post, tried it in a normal arcade cabinet with jamma harness.
for hyper neogeo64 it will give you only the option
to add coins and press start when connected to a normal arcade
(every other control is connected through the motherboard harnesses).

so again like i said in my original post,at first i needed to restart it couple of times to be able to press just the start button, and when i did, it started like normal and after a while started screeching and buzzing
and while doing this it was moving the car around.

when connected only the main motherboard with the game attached to any other machine
its doing all the same, like when its connected to its own dedicated cabinet.

Sorry missed that part.

Sounds like its likely a issue with either the board or the game itself then.

It would be handy if you had access to another game board atleast that way you could narrow it down to either the game of the main mobo.

Afraid I can offer no solid advice on these kind of issues as its out of my skill set.
But from the experience I have had with similar issues on regular jamma boards I have had a few with dodgy IC’s that presented similar problems.

Only other thing I could suggest is double check your voltages the HNG64 is a power hungry beast!!
