Install retroarch in groovyarcade?
« on: April 01, 2020, 02:51:01 am »
Is it possible? Also I have a 980 ti plugged in as well but I want to use my Radeon 8570 for groovyarcade, can I leave my 980ti plugged in as long as no monitor is connected to the 980ti?

It's possible, but you'd have to compile and configure it yourself for Arch. I would suggest using the Mednafen suite it comes with for console emulation. That should get you covered for NGPC, NES, SNES, GBC, GBA, Genesis, LYNX, PCE, PS1, and Saturn, plus a few more I'm not remembering, and it's already on there and set up to work with 15khz tubes like you want.

He said groovyarcade, not GroovyMAME. So i guess he means Linux and not windows. So no emu4crt.

I guess this is possible, depends on the version of groovyarcade you're using, and how your linux is configured to not use your 980ti for display
