build or not arcade cabinet
« on: March 15, 2020, 04:17:39 am »
Hi all ,

I am planning to build my arcade cabinet . But i am really hesitating .

My pc is standing beside my 55 inch tv , logitech wheel G25 on a stand , dolphin bar with 2 wiimotes and 2 xbox one controllers .
Running on hyperspin .

One of reasons i want to build my arcade cabinet is that i almost don't  have time anymore to go on my pc because of my 2 kids . Yeah they always watch cartoons , and offcourse its our tv . My wife also watch tv and so .  ::)

But on hyperspin i have also alot of pc games , Gta V , Rdr2 , devil may cry , .... Or games like Botw on cemu . Then i am thinking would it be ok to play those games from behind a arcade cabinet . Offcourse i can put a bar chair to play those games .

Or all my racing games , teknoparrot , pc racing games . How will i do it with my racing wheel on stand .

those are the things where i am hesitating in .

If i would build my cabinet , it will be something like the megacade  ;D

Get started before you change your mind!
Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools! I can fix it.

Cramming all of that stuff into one cab will not work out. Just get another TV dedicated to your games.

If you are seriously considering playing Breath of the Wild, GTAV and RDR2 on an arcade cabinet you are going to have a really really bad time.  Sounds like you need another TV to hook your computer up to in front of a couch.
