.....for wiring buttons and joysticks? Can solid wire be crimped onto quick disconnects? Thanks for any help. |

Go with stranded wire for crimped connections, solid will break very easily and does not hold a crimped connection very well, on the other hand if its going from a terminal block solid will work fine. Solid is also a bit easier to solder on to D-sub connectors. |

Personally, I used telephone wire. Not a cord but the internal wire. (Solid copper) I found it VERY easy to use especially with the terminal connectors. But I also used crimp connections on the other end. I haven't hand any problem with them breaking or slipping out. Good luck. J_K_M_A_N jkman999.tripod.com |
