All the changes I make to the preferences undo themselves everytime I turn the power off. Is there a way to make the change permanent?

If I remember right, you have to run preferences from the max 2.10\frontend directory, not from within Maximus. Whichever way you did it, try the other way.

I tried both ways.
Neither worked.
Can I edit the cfg?

Okay, I tried it by going from Maximus Arcade directly to preferences by pressing Rightctrl+P. The changes didn't stick.
I tried going to the desktop from Maximus Arcade by pressing Rightctrl+Q. The changes didn't stick.
I went to preferences and edited the CFG file. The settings were over written when Maximus Arcade started.
Any more ideas?
