Rowe AMI MM5 testing procedure before buying?
« on: February 10, 2020, 03:33:42 pm »
Hi all,

I'm new to jukboxes and I am behind one for sale near me. It is a Rowe AMI MM5.

The owner inherited it so he doesn't know anything about it, if it works or not, if it is complete or not.
I am not familiar with jukeboxes either, so I would like to ask for your help on what to look for when I get to see it. How to test it, what to push, how to inspect it, etc.

In pics I've seen there are some manual controls inisde to the left but nothing else. I wish I had the owner's manual at least to know how to operate it. Do any of you have it by chance?

I am not concerned about the amp because I am into electronics, but I have no idea about mechanisms and if there was a missing part I would not be able to realize that.

A step by step testing procedure for beginners would be a great help for me!

Thanks a lot in advance!
