I am heading out to California this morning. Out to see Arroyo. On the way home I am stopping to see Yotsuya and company.

Nice!  Do you get to turn in any receipts?

The SF Chippendales chapter is flying Mike out for an exclusive Friday night show.  Tickets have been sold out for months, and I’m told one lucky lady will be bagging him for the night in a raffle off.

I think he can expense.

Remember to put a penny under your tongue before you attempt to board the plane or the flight attendant will know you're drunk.

I made it to California. I have a headache that has been building all day. I dried to out drink it and that hasn't worked yet.

I just had some really good Thai food. Spicy. Their beer was good too.

If Arroyo doesn’t take you to Disneyland, he has failed as a host.

You can't out-drink a headache. You can out-weed one though. You're in cali now, get yourself some legal kush or something. That's like insta-gone for headaches and you get to chill the eff out.

Weed will be legal in IL Jan 1. Nothing against it. I just don't like it. Booze has always been my thing.

Breakfast at Oakland International. Eggs bacon and toast are on the way. I had an amazing stay with Arroyo. I will fill in more details later. Now I am off to Phoenix.

It's been a crazy few days. I am boarding my flight home soon.
Arroyo was a great host.
I had a blast in Phoenix with Yots and Jawhn.
Hopefully Yots will post some pics here. I will post more after I get home.

San Francisco area . Home of Arroyo.
We had a party bus to haul our drunk asses around. We went to some brewery and then a barcade and then somewhere else. The night was a little foggy for me. Arroyo hangs some really great people. I had an awesome trip.

We managed to get some work done too. We installed an asteroids multi kit in his machine. I helped him pick up a cab. I brought a couple anycoin mechs and installed those. I brought some Alpha Centuri tokens to get him started.

Arroyo opened his home to me. His wife welcomed me. They are a great team and I can never say enough good things about them.

The Cobra Arcade bar in Phoenix was awesome.

I was beyond DUI on the Crazy Taxi.

I got some Donkey Kong pointers from Jawhn. He doesn't post here much. Awesome dude.

I got to catch up with my bro Yotsuya. He is the reason for all of this. He got me hooked and convinced me to go to my first Zapcon.

I really enjoyed giving Pole Position driving lessons to some college girl.

I definitely plan on making the trip out again next year. I just need to find a way to squeeze in some time to see Opt.

I tried to make it work this year, but it just didn't work out.

Mike was a great guest.  He started off with a peace offering to the wife (I removed the name):

Needless to say the wife was ecstatic.  He built that himself including doing the laser etching.  It’s a fantastic piece and we are very grateful.

He also helped me install the Braze multi game kit on my Asteroids machine, helped me pickup a cab, helped clean around the house post party, and was an overall joy to have.  He blended well with my family and circle of friends and we had a great time.

Muir Woods was fun and we threw down some good Chinese in SF.  Memorable trip, look forward to the next one.
