Blue Rowe Ami Ri-1 heritage help
« on: December 09, 2019, 06:03:05 pm »
New member here. I just signed up to the forum.

I just acquired a A blue Rowe Ami Ri-1 heritage jukebox...My first jukebox ever.

it turns on, during transport the tonearm got ripped off so i cant test it till i attach it back and get a needle...there is also a hum...

My goal is to restore it little by little over the winter.

1.) There is a musty smell from inside, maybe the wood got wet? the guy had it stored in his garage for years. Any advice how to remove that smell?
2. The guy lost the key but i opened it up with a paperclip, Any advice where to get a key?
3.) Any advice as to where to get a good stylus replacement for best sound? It has a Shure M44 cartridge.
4.) Also, I was wondering if anyone could spare a copy of a service manual in pdf form?

Any help would be really appreciated...
Jamie :-)
