  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Dear all,

I just flashed my bios with Atom-15 and at first sight it all worked well.
When booting the PC with only the CRT connected, there is no problem. However, when I have a second screen connected (LCD-Screen used as as dynamic marquee) the CRT looses the signal after the first seconds of booting. Then I have to unplug the second screen and restart windows. After that I plug the second screen in and it works.
May anyone help with this?

My setup:
ASUS Z87-A Mainboard
Intel Pentium G3258 CPU
Sapphire Radeon HD 6450 GPU with CRT EMU-Driver, flashed with Atom-15
Windows 7
Sony Trinitron CRT as first screen
Stretched LCD as second screen
GroovyMame (version 0.214)
AttractMode (version 2.6.0)

Best regards
Max

I could not solve the problem. If anybody else has the same issue, my solution now is to use a switch-on delay so the second screen is powered 8 seconds later than the first screen.

Hi Max_FS,

Sorry this went unanswered. There's no solution for this I'm afraid, except what you did. ATOM-15 is not actually meant for multi-monitor, specially if you use an LCD too. The video card will detect the LCD monitor and decide it's the main display and will automatically send the video to it.

Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.

Hi Calamity,

no problem, as this could be solved in the end.
And I already have another question with regard to my multimonitor-setup (just preparing a new topic at the moment) :-D
