Mega touch Force 2011 black screen

Hey guys. I’m looking at a Megatouch unit for a buddy of mine. During boot up the screen flashes on for just a second but then goes back to dark. The system boots ok but the screen is so dark you can just barely see the images with a flashlight up close. So you think this is a capacitor or power supply problem? Or maybe just a bad monitor?? I’m at a loss here.

Bad CCFL's in the lcd panel, or bad monitor power inverter. Either way, you will need a new monitor.

contact the dudes over at lcdparts.net with your model number of your monitor and the part make/model of the back-light invertor. they should be able to get something to replace it with. they are a little pricey, but they have always had a part that was 100% plug and play compatible.
