I want to build my own arcade controls!
POST/Boot Issue

Hello All! This is my first post.
So I had an interesting issue last night. My MegaTouch GameTime (think it's a consumer version) wouldn't POST or boot. Checked the power supply and voltages were good. Checked to make sure everything was plugged in, reseated a few things but still no joy. What I wound up doing was adding a couple jumper wires (to use as a switch) to the mother PWRON jumpers and low and behold it booted.
This seems strange to me. What would prevent it from posting or booting? If there wasn't a switch there before...why does it all of a sudden need one? How was it configured to boot before when all that needed to happen was flipping the switch in the back to powerup the power supply.

Bios battery is dead. Replace battery, plug in a keyboard, hit DEL to get into bios, go under power managment and look for a setting that says after power loss and set it to power on after power loss.
You're welcome.
