A Lost Video Game Arcade has been Discovered in Bristol...

Future Artists Bristol presents 'The History of Video Games - The Lost Arcade' a pop up all you can play retro video games event located in Bristol's Historic Harbourside area on Millennium promenade just off Millennium square.

Wow... Mark, chill out my man. I'm not in any way affiliated with Future Artists or the 'Lost Arcade', I'm just someone that visited it and took some video - the title of the video is the same as the name of the event. The bit about builders 'discovering' the arcade games near the harbour-side is taken directly from their Facebook page, something which they then go on to freely admit a bit further down the page that they made up, 'because well, it sounded like a great idea for a Halloween show!'

There's no intentional deception going on, just some guys hosting an awesome arcade event, having a bit of fun.

Firstly, if you are NOT involved with the production of this video, or the actual makers of this video.

Then I APOLOGISE to you

I am man enough to apologise, I shall end here as the actual video and the embellishment as they call it, or as I call it lies, still makes my blood boil.

Regards

Mark

Well, obviously I am involved in the production of the video, as it's an upload on my YouTube channel. Like I said, I've got no connection with the event. I visited it with a mate, took some video of all the arcade machines there and then edited it together. I just used the 'story' concocted by the event providers as an introduction to the video and the name of the event as the video title. Why on earth would that make your 'blood boil'?  :dizzy:

The Facebook page for the event states that it's only a story the developers made up for a bit of fun - I mention right at the start of the video that it's not a true story, so there's no deception going on. The final giveaway is the fact 'The Lost Arcade' is in quotation marks.

I really don't get why this has got you so hot and bothered?

Thread surgery has been applied. Be nice to each other folks, life's too short otherwise and none of us get out of here alive, so why not make it pleasant for one another?

I know one mod is in India for work, one disappeared, and the other must be getting a software update. Thanks, Saint!
