Does anyone have a megatouch force hard drive with 2006 or new software on it please ? I will prob need the key as well.My hard drive died and its scrap so need new software ready to plug and play  Many thanks Ime in uk

what version key does your machine have now? (key part number... should be SA####)

if it is 2005 you can swap the drive for any drive and reload the software in it. merit removed the merit branded drive requirement (drives with custom 'merit' firmware) in 2005.5 update.

any version above at as well can use any drive. (06 07 08 09 10 11)

Security Key: SA3501-XX // SA3504-XX (i assume keys between 3501 and 3504)

I can probably get you a 2006 re-installation disk image. you'd just use your computer burn the image to a blank cd disk...and then boot your machine with a cd rom attached to the motherboard and the software does the rest. once it's done disconnect everything and reboot.

if you want to take a stab at reinstalling it on a new drive that is.

as for when... i'm not 100% sure... all my stuff is currently packed becasue i'm in a very slow process of moving. i might have a spare at work i can upload an img of this weekend if that's good enough for you.
