ROWE AMI R82
« on: September 15, 2019, 05:10:09 pm »
Hi All, Long time reader, 1st time user. I have an 1978 R82 with a bit of a hiccup. Took delivery of this on the weekend from some close friends. Plugged it in, played 1 song and the music was crackly. We sorted that problem out then it would'nt select a record. We cleared the memory, scanned through to 00, powered up, then all it would do was rotate the carousel 5 times then stop at record 78. The window where it shows the record selected has the number 200 flashing. When you manually play a record, on the menu it will be 153 for arguments sake, the number showing is 253. Have cleared the memory 10 times but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Hello Kenny,

On the R-80S to R-83 jukeboxes the display counts down in the 200 range on the display, this is standard on these jukeboxes, the count down should be steady without the display flashing.

Regards
Alan
