Did that to a single-door full size in my first apartment. Hated that thing, so it was unintentional revenge.

Eh... There are better... uh... more unconventional uses...

We have one at work with a padlock on it, I tell visitors we store human heads in it.  What’s the other unconventional use?

(The human heads are actually kept in 5 gallon buckets in a cabinet behind two badge swipe doors)

I’ve been surprised how many “yeah, that happened to me, too” stories I’ve gotten as I’ve tried to educate people through my mistake.  Still though, $75 and 12 years... can’t complain.  It transitioned to stickers over the rust holes a year or so ago.  So many bottles of beer went through that thing it’s unreal.

Contemplating this as a replacement....
