Basic wiring question

What kind of wiring does the jamma harnesses use? I'm soldering the wires to a console game controller & I don't want to cut up my harness.

Stranded copper. Anywhere in the 18-24 gauge neighborhood should treat you alright.

I'm seeing gauges from 18-24 on Amazon, which would you recommend? I'm going to get the multicolored rolls along with quick disconnects.

I just picked up some RGB led wire off ebay for cheap.. .99 for 3meters.

can always strip them apart for separate wire... pretty sure it's 24awg, might be 22.. check ebay there are a lot of sellers on there.. it's 4 wires Red, Green, Blue, Black.

The buttons carry next to no current @ low voltages, it's really just a matter of what you can get cheap that's not so thin to give you problems.
Anyone got change for a dollar?
PLEASE HELP NEED Fastmame .70 and .9* releases

Electricity is like water, that is to say 22ga. Would be a feeder line for say a couple of 24ga...That's a good rule to follow, but not really that critical for this application ( either one would most likely be fine) personally Jenn likes the bigger 22ga. just because...Cheap wire can be just that with dry brittle insulation and less than optimal conductance, not really the place to save a buck if you got a choice, quality would be better.
