r94 is exactly the one, it should be a metal oxide 1w 3r9
its important to be a metal oxide as its a safety component so the one you linked to will be perfect

It Lives! newest update.. replaced R94 and powered up. Got a picture so reattached D10 and powered up and didn't go out on overvoltage protection so we're back to before I broke it!

B+ is now 132v but the image is still only half the screen height and rolled up at the bottom? see picture attached. any advice?

still a fault in vertical circuit, could be broken track or bad ic
you may even have a bad yoke but that normally shows distortion as well

R43 has a broken leg! Tested out fine from underneath the board but on closer inspection the leg was hanging on by a thread. Soldered the leg back together and the picture is now perfect! Only issue now is there's a hissing/arcing noise coming from either the neck board or the ht cap and a high pitched squeal coming from the horizontal linearity coil which stops/changes when I put my finger on it!

if the hiss is neck card then i expect its the really old crt socket and they corrode internally, if its the anode then it could be slightly damp and will clear in some time or with a gentle clean, or there is corrosion on the connection of the anode clip to cable
lin coil you can manipulate the coil wire fractionally or reseal with a lacquer

I'll check out the anode cap tonight. Is there anywhere that still sells the neck sockets? How would I go about resealing the coil? Also is there anywhere that sells replacements for them that your aware of?

quick fix for the coil is tape a wooden toothpick to it

what crt socket type is it?
