However I have secretly been curious and noticed that Kreg jig set it really quite reasonably priced, And certainly makes one think of the posibilities...Thx for the pic.

Hi Jenn, yep I got the Kreg Jig R3 junior. It was £30 and came with various screws and some of those dowels to put in and cover the hole.

The instructions are really easy to follow and the holes I drilled worked out fine.

Had to google that one...

Pocket hole's that good, eh? :lol

Maybe not *that* good.... but at my age I get to drill more pocket holes than I get knee-tremblers....  ;D ;D ;D

I have a full Kreg set.

However - 99.9% of the time - I use this one:
https://www.amazon.com/Kreg-MKJKIT-Mini-Jig-Kit/dp/B00065WPP2/ref=sr_1_13?crid=2ASESGGMYXDLV&keywords=kreg+pocket+hole+jig&qid=1565620490&s=gateway&sprefix=kreg+pocket%2Caps%2C134&sr=8-13

So you can really lower the cost of entry/testing with it.

It solves some joinery problems that otherwise are clunky.

Vigo:
I have a Kreg kit sitting in my garage unopened, with some wood next to it ready to be turned into furniture. (Turntable stand/ record cabinet). I look forward to my first pocket joint as well, but it has been sitting for about 2 months, as my higher priority stuuf seem to keep creeping in, like a downed tree in my yard, or my boat motor seals going bad.
