$41 might be close to right. I've had a couple of these, https://www.harborfreight.com/flame-design-bar-counter-swivel-stool-91200.html?, and I didn't love them. The quality was suspect, so if they bump up the quality a bit, I could see $40ish being fair. Even with licensing costs, $80's a stretch.

I'm sure they are selling high, and then will have sales.

They look a lot like the Harbor Freight stools, the one with the flame on it. I had a set of those. I rarely used them and the plastic got brittle and the chrome started rusting. I assumed these were going to be the same way.

Someday I will buy a casino stool.  If anyone wants to keep you comfortable on a stool, it's a casino.
