Missed those party pics earlier.  15 is a good turnout.  I peaked at ~25 and it was absolute chaos in my house.  Once you get to a dozen, it’s enough people that they can interact with each other and leave you alone.  At 2 dozen, ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- is constantly breaking and people are pulling food out of your deep freeze behind your back.

Yeah. When it hits 30 that means we are outside my inner circle of friends. I lock the bedroom doors. I have never had a problem, but it doesn't hurt to be careful. Fifteen or so means they are my good friends. I tend to drink more and I can relax more. My daughter's friends crash in the theater room. I don't have to be the ogre, she set the rule that if you want to party you have to stay. And her friends are all 21 or older.

I wish I had the money to throw a party every weekend. We are living the dream at the Aberle house.

We were doing almost weekly parties and they were costing us  ~$1,000/mo. So we cut them off and magically nobody else stepped up to bat.

Not that I'm bitter.

Looks like a blast!

All the food and games, makes me want to plan a pilgrimage to the midwest! Pickled veggies with jalapeño is legit. How'd the chili turn out?

The chili is ---smurfing--- great. It is a time proven recipe. Get your ass out here. I will roll out the red carpet.
