Any love for Neo Geo Pocket?

I'll wait this one out until the Chinese clones come out. NGPC has zero nostalgia for me so it'd have to be fairly easy/cheap to get into before I would take the plunge.

Well, since nobody likes Neo Geo Pocket, I'm gonna derail slightly here. Poked around on aliexpress and there sure are a lot of kits to convert GB and GBC to backlit. Some even coming with new shells. Might be kind of a fun and pointless quarantine project. I've got an SP, DS, and DS Lite already but why the hell not. No idea why in the world I've kept all these Gameboys... I guess because they were cheap and small. Anyone have any positive experience with converting an original Gameboy or GBC?

I converted a original GBA so I could play GB and GBC games with a back light.
Didnt like the SP...

Been meaning to do that myself. I should probably get the plumbing in order and get the carpets cleaned at grandma's before I start on any big projects though.
