Jrok and ArcadeSD on VGA CRT

I tried to search but couldn't find a good answer to this. Lots of answers about flat panel, but no answers about CRT VGA monitors.

So I was curious if anyone use a Jrok williams or ArcadeSD with a VGA CRT monitor? Either arcade VGA or computer monitor.

Do they look good? Do they have scanlines?

If not, does a scanline generator help?

I have some old computer monitors and was curious what they look like
