Joystick Mounting

Hi Guys, How do most of you go about mounting joysticks, what type do you use? could some of you post some pictures here to give me an idea?

My machine has been unused for a good few years and I recently started to get it running, it has a few problems but it's getting there. I have never like the big hole around my joysticks they are mounted underneath 3/4 chipboard, initially I thought my jamma loom had a wiring problem but on closer inspection the micro switches are at fault my sticks work intermittently the micro switches only work at certain points, switch cleaner hasn't helped, I took the switches of the player 2 stick and got stick one working, but the sticks feel so different anyway stick one is loose and stick 2 is stiff, I could probably get new switches but as I say I don't like the holes in my control panel so might as well get two new sticks, I can fill the holes somehow as I plan on painting the cab all black and adding some new T-molding anyway so yeah, just looking for joystick recommendations that will look neater than the current ones and good functionality is also important, also I'm in the U.K.

I have asked this before but my memory is terrible :-(
but as I say some pics of what you guys have done will help a lot :-)

Regards,
Chris.
