MAMEWAH under Windows 10
« on: May 25, 2019, 06:13:02 pm »
A few years ago, a very helpful user posted a tutorial about getting the MAMEWAH front end working under Windows 7

http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=146170.0

I can confirm these instructions also work for Windows 10.  However, MAMEWAH has a movie feature allowing avi files to be displayed in the layouts.  This was working perfectly in my old XP cabinet, but under Win10, these AVI files do not play in MAMEWAH.  They play fine in Media Player, so I think I have all he proper codecs.

Is there anyone here still using MAMAWAH with the movie feature working that can offer some help?

Thanks to all!

I just upgraded my MAME PC and had to set up MameWah on the new PC.  The .avi videos work fine for me on that PC.  I don't recall doing anything special to make it happen.  Sorry I can't help fix it, but I can confirm that it works.
