Stargate control panel.
« on: May 22, 2019, 10:26:40 pm »
Hi all. Posted this, unsuccessfully elsewhere... I gave opened both latches on the inside of my Stargate but cannot for the life of me figure out how to open to get to the inner button controls. What am I missing? Am very embarrassed I can’t get it.
Thanks.

Can you get any pics? That might help.

OK, you lifted the handle (upper right) to loosen both latches.

Did you pull the hook (lower left) completely clear of the panel bracket? (upper left)

You can see how the handle and hook move from 3:05 - 3:28 of this video.

Ended up being that it was prevented from opening by a rusty piano hinge.  Working great now
