One I randomly discovered a few years ago, had never heard of back in the day, never hear about now and really like is Bank Panic. Brute Force is another random one I found a few months ago. I'm not sure that I'd call it "good" but it has some interesting ideas and I found it intriguing enough to play through. There's some stuff in it that was frankly ahead of its time - swapping items, returning to a main stage between levels that unlocks new paths as you progress. People behind this one either went on to great things or left the industry. Another one I like but have never seen in the wild and nobody talks about is Arm Wrestling. Chicken Shift is fun as hell. I'm glad I found a receptive audience for that pi cart. :cheers: |

Side scrolling beat-em-up with Multi-directional attacks, well ahead of its time! Charging up your strikes is kinda cool too, and I like how the city you’re in feels vast. Very cool game. May not be a great game, but cool nonetheless. |
