Finished . Converting a 1up Pacman to Ms Pacman
« on: March 31, 2019, 04:44:10 am »
I am waiting for art kit. nervous about putting on artwork. Never done it. Can I use credit card to help pushing out air bubbles?
I am using a pie with my own image. Still waiting for pink buttons to get here (slow boat from China. )
I am soldering buttons to PS1 game pads.
Pacman is still in box. Less monitor. It is in my other Pacman.
Monitor is a dell 17 inch. HDMI to VGA
Boot splash is 1UP thunderstorm avi
Theme is 1Up theme
Having issues with skyscraper.  Most ROMs scrapped some not. Screen said skyscraper is busy and I am not a member.
Having issues with loading screen. I have a avi file of spinning coin but all video's I have seen on loading screen are using picture.
Having issues with boot up. ROMs are in Arcade folder. I have MAME 2003 set for all ROMs. Set pie to boot to Arcade. But all you see is Mame 2003. If you hit button "a" then game list shows up.

It can be done without it but I find that RapidTac makes it so easy that putting on sideart it actually fun.

Spray a little of this on the cabinet -

-and then apply your artwork.

I used this to smooth out the bubbles.

Spray, felt tip squeegee, razor knife in. Art work due in on Monday. Still no idea on pink buttons. On very slow boat from China.
Dell 17 inch monitor case removed and replaced 1up monitor.
Raspberry pi attract mode image is ready.
Moving 3 book cases. Buying paint and primer for living room.
Slow moving but progress is happening.

Looks good - Might want to run a black marker along the outer edge so it blends in better with the t-molding right now the white vinyl sticks out between the black molding and blue sideart. Be sure to test on the backside first in a piece that doesn't show to make sure it looks better before doing the rest if you do try it.
