ES boot to arcade

Boot text is gone. 1Up splash screen is working. 1UP theme is working.
Still have 3 problems.
#1 ) ROMs are MAME 2003 . I placed ROMs in Arcade folder. I have ES set to boot to Arcade. Now after boot I see MAME 2003. No game list.
I hit  Button "A" the game list is there with 1UP theme. I do not see how to boot to game list.

#2) scraping ROM's . I used skyscraper and it did most but not all. Roms are named correctly.
I do have the vids on my PC but just putting video in folder that skyscraper used did nothing. What XML or txt or list do I need to edit?

#3) I have a 1UP loading AVI I want to add but all examples I see are for picture not avi.
