Stupid Question Aimtrak Light Guns Player 3?

So I am building my first cabinet and want to add lightguns but I am curious how do you set them up in the 3rd and 4th USB slots to be player 1 and Player two?

Specifically what I mean is if I set joysticks for player one and player two then plug aimtrak instead USB 3 and and 4 how would the game know I want to use the guns instead of joystick?

The games in MAME will use whatever you tell them to.

The problems you will have is windows changing the USB ID's but you can deal with that.
