Desktop pinball?
« on: March 24, 2019, 07:29:30 am »
I have never done steam. I keep hearing go there. High speed internet is new to me. Way deep in the sticks.
I have not a clue what so ever about emulation of pin ball.
I am not wanting a pin ball full set up. I would like to try just 1 monitor and get my toes in the waters so to speak.
PC or android.
Can you point me in the direction. All info I find has 2 or 3 monitor's  full machines.
I am not ready for that.
Thanks for any help

Yep you need to use Steam.  Pinball FX3 recently acquired licenses for the Williams tables and they usually do a good job so I'd try them out.

google "visual pinball" I have built a 3 screen setup but all the VPX pinball games I have in my cabinet can be played on your desktop using your keyboard. you do not need steam. All the VPX pinball games are free to download and use thanks to a very generous pinball community. mind you-you will need a fairly good computer and video card as some are fairly demanding. Trust me you will be hooked once you start playing. Good luck and have fun.

Get pinball fx3 or pinvall arcade on steam.  Each have 1 free table , so it's zero cost to try out. You can always build a mini like gingerballs
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

If I go steam and buy games do you still need internet after purchase?
I am not wanting Internet on my cabs.

I've read they have offline options but I don't know I just leave my stuff connected to my network for ease of doing remote setup.
