FS: Variety of arcade and console stuff [US/NH/Concord]
« on: February 22, 2019, 08:38:51 am »
>>UPDATE 4/25/19<<
90% of the stuff is gone. I'm not in the mood to try and sell the rest right now. I'll make a new post in the future if I find the time.

>>UPDATE 2/24/19<<

Please don't PM me
I prefer to do this all in the open.  I get that people might not want to share their address in the public part of the site though, so once a price is agreed to I will PM my Paypal address and once you've sent the money PM me back with your address.

I think it might be a little lost in the paragraphs below, so here it is again. MY PRICE LIST. Prices are NOT firm, especially if you bundle.

Just added my Steel Battalion controller. Controller is in great condition, the box not so much. One of the two connectors that goes between the blocks is 3D printed. If you have any experience with 3D printed parts, forget all that, this was printed on a professional machine that prints in carbon fiber reinforced nylon. I'd bet it's stronger than the original one.

I'm trying to do this from my phone right now so instead of embedded images, here's my album.

https://photos.app.goo.gl/oiwhSj1w9kURrfAZ8

>>UPDATE 2/22/19 (evening)<<
I knew this was going to be a lot of work, but since I'm just getting better from being sick, it's more draining that I had expected. So this is going to go a little slow...

I've added some more pictures. I haven't considered pricing yet so if you want something, make me a reasonable offer.  I will check ebay's completed listings of similar items if they exist and if you're not low-balling me, I'll most likely accept. I will be working on a list of the items and reasonable prices very soon. I'm not here to try and rip anyone off.  If you think I miss the mark on any pricing, tell me.

Earthbound is a repro.

---THIS IS A LIST OF LOWER THAN AVERAGE COMPLETED EBAY PRICES--- *still a work in progress!
What I did was scroll through the first page of recent results and estimate a price that was usually well below the median but discarded things that looked erroneous. So if I'm seeing a lot of 20, 30, 45, and there's a random 12, I've put $20-25.  Prices aren't firm. The more you want, the better deal I'm willing to cut. For instance, the whole lot of N64 stuff would be a lucky haul at $400 on ebay according to my research, if someone offered $250, I'd take it.

Please don't PM me. If you do I will respond with "please don't PM me" :D If you PM me and someone posts after that message about the same item, I will consider the public post to have come first.

>>ORIGINAL MESSAGE<<
Apparently it's been a long time since I've logged in to this site, I had a PM from June 2016 that I hadn't read yet...

To be honest, it's kind of painful to do this, but all this stuff just sits around unused and unappreciated.  I'm unloading ~90% of my collection from my childhood NES and SNES (the first console I bought for myself) to the most recent item I purchased which was a GDEMU.  I thought I'd try here first for a couple reasons, primarily because I thought I had a Major Havoc roller and it would be one of the more valuable items (it's currently MIA) and also I really enjoyed the community here back in the day and thought I'd repay some of that good will.

I'm still in the process of sorting the stuff but here's a few items I managed to get pictures of before my living room turned into a disaster area. Stay tuned.
90% sure I have the games to go along with the Taiko drum and the Beatmania controller.

If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

You have dibs for when I get to posting it.

How much for the dc keyboard?

$20 + actual shipping costs.  I've got a fair bit more DC stuff, so if you'd like to wait I'll set it aside for you.

I'd be interested in the DC stuff as well. And those volcano buttons, how much for those?

I guess I should work on the DC stuff next...  Tomorrow.  Arroyo's PM was regarding the volcano buttons.  Figuring a reasonable price for them is difficult. The only thing close on ebay was a pair of lower profile ones for $50, so I offered the set of 4 for the same price. No idea if I low-balled myself or if that's unreasonable high.

On the subject of PMs, I would prefer to not. It avoids having to type the same stuff repeatedly and I think is better for transparency, I don't want to rip anyone off nor do I want to be ripped off.

Oh, no, it’s all good, you take ‘em. You’re ahead of me, and you’re actively building projects. I was just going to hoard them for future projects. I already have a set, just figured I could get another but I in no way *need* them right now.

$20. Less if some of the DC stuff peaks your interest enough to bundle.

I’ll pick them up and split it with you and send you two.  I don’t have a need for them on this project either, was thinking of a future build as well.

What I think are reasonable prices:
Lethal Enforcers/Justifier     $20
2 DC rumble packs             $30
DC light gun                       $25
DC VGA box                        $100

Total                                   $175

Call it $150+shipping

I was PMed regarding the Wico joystick handles asking for a price. As I had mentioned, I don't want to do this via PM, so here's the price and more info for anyone who wants it.
I believe these were a custom job by someone here on the boards who added the buttons to some ball tops for Wico joysticks. I'll take $30+ship for the pair.

Hello!! prices for
Majora's
Mario 64
Mario Kart

Please TIA.

$60 + Ship
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

Call it an even $70 shipped and you've got a deal. Paypal WGenest@gmail.com. Preference would be the "send money to a friend" option or do the math and add the fees.

Everything arrived in perfect shape, extremely well packed. I can't find where I can post feedback.

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

How much were you wanting for the SNES?  I only want the console and one controller if possible.
Thanks,
