Hybrid Project : Cocktail table, Virtual pinball and Vertical Bartop

Hello everyone

Here is more detail of the construction of a special project, an original one for sure, that I realized in 2017.

It's a bit special because it can be "transformed" to be  adapted to different modes of play:

Cocktail table mode:

But before this state, there was a little work at my workshop

The base of the box is made of wood (MDF)




I had to work around problems that we do not think about ;-)
For example, the cables of the second joystick go inside the arm to enter the box

After the painting step, time of wiring , and getting everything to go inside was not easy!

Inside, for the computer part, a recycle mini pc Chromebox, with windows 10 on it.
The screen is a recycle laptop lcd screen.
For software, PinballX as Frontend , mame for emulation and pinball fx2 for pinball games.

That's all for the presentation of this project,
2 years ago, I did not have a 3D printer, there are probably some parts that I would do differently now ... maybe in version 2.0 ;-)
