25 khz Modeline on 15 khz - 31 khz Dual Monitor
« on: January 12, 2019, 03:04:03 pm »
Hello,

I have a monitor that is compatible with the 15 khz - 31 khz dual profile. It works great, but 25 khz games such as Paperboy look letterboxed due to the 384 vertical size.

Is there a way to stretch these games vertically to better fill the screen?

Thank you

Calamity

You have to tell GM you don't want 384p.

You do so by adjusting the line limits of your crt ranges.

Currently you probably have a 31 kHz that allows 320p-480p. Fix that to only allow 400p-480p. GM will adapt to the new situation by stretching the games over the most suitable resolution.
Important note: posts reporting GM issues without a log will be IGNORED.
Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.
