It caught me off guard, but not in a good way. This is a major tonal shift for the series, one we really don't need in this world of endless grim-dark sci-fi. I think ultimately it'll end like the best of both worlds 2 part finale on tng, with everything mostly reset to normal only now with a new threat. |

I thought it was awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed it. ....bit of Metropolis, bit of Star Wars. It's not like the other shows where it's an over-arcing story line that will last two seasons. It will be back to Bortis jokes the week after next. |
