I seem to remember (may not be correct) that the originals had stereo tapes, and one side would play audio and the other sent some sort of pulse signal to control the mouth and eyes. If you find you need some sort of audio help, send me a message and I will see what I can do. |

Thanks @ eds1275 From what I recall and what information I've found online I think you are correct. My version however, the 2006 version uses some sort of cartridge. I'm going to need to track one down via Ebay. I've seen videos where people have the original Teddy, and use a Cassette/CD adapter, play MP3 audio files and Teddy works. I was hoping I could do the same, but with this guy needed a cartridge I doubt it. I haven't found anything online specific to my model and hacks that may be available. I posted some images I found online, I don't physically have a cartridge yet. Would be awesome if you could hack the cart and just record a sh*t ton of the stories on it, but I know it isn't that easy. LOL |
